Isaiah’s Call Mission 58 is a Backpack Program providing nutritious food to qualifying families in the Shoals area. We provide saltine crackers, granola bars and “Add water only” muffin mix each week. For more information about our commitment contact the church office. Room in the Inn Shoals is a winter shelter program. We are open for shelter from November through March. From April through October, Room in the Inn provides food and supplies for anyone in need. For more information, visit the Room in the Inn website.
Administrative Help
There are many ways you can help around our office. Spend an hour or two, maybe all day answering the phone or whatever Samantha might need help with. You can become part of the Team that counts the offering each Monday (except legal holidays, then on Tuesday) and gives it to our Financial Manager, Samantha who handles the actual deposit. You can help prepare our monthly Newsletter KINGDOM L.I.F.E. There is always something happening around here. Call our office for more information or to schedule your time to volunteer.
Faith In Action Support
We will soon begin accept applications for assistance and we need volunteers who will help fill out the forms. It’s a great way to meet others and be the presence of Jesus in difficult times. Call the office for more information.
Community Events
We are involved in our community and want to become even more involved. Some of the Community Events we participate in are the Sheffield Homecoming Parade where we pass out free bottled water; Sheffield Trunk or Treat; Sheffield Christmas Parade where we pass out free hot chocolate. And we are participating members in the community organization Sheffield Central, where we join in with area businesses, groups and organizations in promoting the great things that are happening in Sheffield.
