Why we give
Our mission as a church is to worship, fellowship, make disciples, and reach out to our community and the world with the life-changing message and love of Jesus Christ. Your gifts help us fulfill that mission.
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38
Online Giving
With online giving, you can make a one-time gift, or set up multiple gifts on a schedule. You can also choose to tithe to the General Fund or select from multiple designated accounts for special gifts.
Text Giving
For text giving from your mobile device, text 73256. The body of the text should say sheffieldfumc and the amount you are giving. Example: sheffieldfumc$50
After sending the text, you will be asked which fund to designate the money. There will be a list offered. General Fund is tithe for the church and the other accounts are designated.
